SUMMARY:

A drive down the Old Ridge Route, from Castaic to Gorman. guided by an RRPO board member. Learn about the history of the road, check out our current and upcoming projects and see the entire Castaic to Gorman stretch in person!

BE PREPARED:

Please bring water, snacks and use the restroom before we head out. We will be in a desolate area without any services available. Keep in mind, it may be hot or windy so dress accordingly. Closed toed shoes are a must as well as a vehicle with ground clearance. 4WD is not needed. Equivalent of a RAV4, would do just fine! If needed, we might be clearing rocks and debris from the road to pass through. At any time if we encounter an impassable section, we will turn around.

Note, the exact meeting location and time will be sent out with your email confirmation. We will be meeting in Castaic in the morning as a rough idea.
